Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team of four (4) pulmonologists.
- Manage a diverse patient population with complex pulmonary needs.
- Build strong patient relationships and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Schedule: On-call shared amongst the providers. 4th weekend on call (Fri 5pm – Mon 8am). One to two (1-2 days) of weekday calls 5pm-8am.
- Ability to adapt to evolving clinical practices and integrate new technologies.
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of pulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
- Interpret pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and sleep studies.
- Perform bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures (if applicable).
- Manage inpatient consults and admissions (if hospital work is included).
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, respiratory therapists, and care coordinators.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice development.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Pulmonary Medicine fellowship
- Board Certified (ABOG) or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine (must become BC within a five (5) year timeline per Medical Staff bylaws)
- Eligible for New Jersey Medical Licensure
- DEA and NJ CDS registration
- Current BLS, and ACLS certification

Pay
Minimum compensation: $300,000 annually
