Physician Pulmonology

About the role

This is a hospital-employed position with a busy practice and an existing patient backlog. The practice is located 30 minutes from South Bend and the University of Notre Dame. It offers an optional inpatient procedure schedule including bronchoscopies and EBUS. The practice is affiliated with an academic medical school.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-complexity cases such as pulmonary hypertension
• Treat patients with sleep disorders
• Conduct inpatient procedures as needed

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Indiana

Qualifications

• Experience with complex pulmonary and sleep disorders
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical acumen

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload
• Proficiency in electronic health records
