Position Highlights
- $335K base salary
- $250K sign-on bonus

- 7 on / 7 off schedule (10-hour days)
Practice Details
27-bed Adult Inpatient Unit (average census ~21)
Average length of stay:
- Voluntary: ~6 days
- Involuntary: ~8 days
Admissions/Discharges: ~6 per week each
Common diagnoses:
- Suicidality
- Acute psychosis
- Mania
- Depression with suicidal ideation
- Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders
- Substance-induced psychiatric conditions
- Dual diagnosis prevalence: ~55% of admissions involve co-occurring substance use disorder
- Nurses & Mental Health Associates
- Social Workers & Case Managers
- Therapists and Psychologists
- Substance Use Counselors
- Discharge Coordination Team
- Medical Consult Services
- 7 on / 7 off schedule (10-hour shifts)
- 1 night per week call
- 1 in 6 weekends
- Daytime on-call coverage 8 AM – 5 PM for ED referral screenings and urgent inpatient needs
- CPI-trained staff with non-violent de-escalation protocols
- Restraints used only as a last resort for safety
- Duress panic buttons for staff
- Security rounding on all inpatient units
- Meritus Health and Brook Lane provide one of the largest behavioral health networks in the region, including:
- 80 inpatient behavioral health beds
- Psychotherapy residency training program
- Residential crisis care and day treatment programs
