About the role
As a medical director, you will manage 15 to 16 patients per day, working alongside two additional psychiatrists and two independent NPs in both the inpatient unit and medical floors. You will work Monday through Friday on an inpatient schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 15 to 16 patients per day
- Collaborate with two additional psychiatrists and two independent NPs
- Conduct inpatient unit work and medical floor consultations
- Work in a hospital-employed position in Chicago, Illinois
Requirements
- Board-certified preferred; board-eligible candidates considered
- Active Illinois license required or pending issuance
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in managing a psychiatric practice
- Knowledge of inpatient and medical floor procedures
