Physician Psychiatry
About the role
Interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, APPs, psychologists, and therapists.
Inpatient rotation 1 week per month at neighboring behavioral health facility.
Secondary backup call 1 night per week; primary call during inpatient week Friday – Sunday.
Medical education opportunities teaching medical students and residents.
Additional compensation available for APP supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric outpatient services Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, 3 weeks per month.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Teach medical students and residents.
- Assist with medical education opportunities.
- Supervise APPs as needed.
Requirements
- Board-eligible or board-certified.
- New graduates and fellows welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- Located just outside Sun Valley, Idaho.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Experience with medical education and teaching.
