Physician - PRN General Anesthesiologists

About the role

In cooperation with other members of the department clinical staff, an Ochsner Staff Physician will provide and coordinate patient care by abiding by Ochsner’s core values of Patients First, Integrity, Compassion, Inclusivity, Teamwork and Excellence and The Responsibilities of the Professional Staff Ochsner Health in New Orleans is searching for BC/BE, General Anesthesiologists to join our expanding team of physicians practicing the MD Primary model of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care by abiding by Ochsner’s core values.
• Perform up to 75% of cases solo.
• Work with a mix of residents and CRNAs on the balance.
• Care for complex patients undergoing challenging surgical procedures within our tertiary-care referral center.

Requirements

• BC/BE certification in Anesthesiology.
• Experience in providing anesthesia care in a tertiary-care setting.
• Enjoy working with a mix of residents and CRNAs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MD degree.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
