Physician - Primary Care - Bay St. Louis

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician.

Key Points:

• Refill center managing over 70% of your refills
• Ambient listening available to everyone in Primary care to reduce documentation time
• LPN Care Coordinators dedicated to closing care gaps on your behalf
• Ochsner On-Call to reduce call burden
• Remote messaging Nurses to reduce in basket messages sent through the portal
• Outpatient Care Managers to assist with complex patient management and helping with social determinant of your patients
• HealthDigital Medicine - supporting the management of patients with chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

Physician responsibilities include:

• Managing the refill center to handle over 70% of your refills
• Implementing ambient listening in primary care to decrease documentation time
• Dedicated LPN Care Coordinators to close care gaps for patients
• Utilizing Ochsner On-Call services to manage call burden
• Implementing remote messaging nurses to reduce in-basket messages
• Collaborating with Outpatient Care Managers to address complex patient needs and social determinants
• Supporting HealthDigital Medicine initiatives to manage patients with chronic conditions

Requirements

Requirements include:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice medicine in the state(s) where you will be working
• Passing scores on all required exams
