We are seeking a BC/BE part-time physician to join our highly collegial, patient-focused Periop Clinic. Our specialized perioperative clinic is staffed by internal medicine hospitalists and APPs who:

  • Assess perioperative risk and optimize chronic medical conditions before surgery
  • Perform appropriate risk stratification when needed
  • Provide patients with education to reduce complications and improve outcomes

This approach has led to fewer same-day cancellations, streamlined anesthesia care, and better patient experiences.

Position Highlights

  • 10 hour clinic shifts, 1-2 shifts per week
  • Ideal for hospitalists, outpatient internal medicine, or family practice physicians

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: MD/DO from accredited medical school
  • BC/BE
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
  • MEDICAL STAFF PRIVILEGES WITH ST. LUKE’S HEALTH SYSTEM, ELIGIBILITY TO OBTAIN
