About the role

Spectrum Healthcare Resources seeks a Pediatric Physician at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV.

Responsibilities

  • Capable of performing the full range of general medical services to include the ability and experience to adequately diagnose and treat urgent/acute diseases and injuries including:
    • o Skin
    • o Pulmonary System
    • o Head
    • o Gastrointestinal System
    • o Eyes
    • o Musculoskeletal System
    • o Ears
    • o Genitourinary System
    • o Nose
    • o Reproductive System
    • o Throat
    • o Lymphopoietic System
    • o Neck
    • o Central Nervous System
    • o Cardiovascular System
    • o Endocrine System
  • Become familiar with the hospital formulary.
  • Prepare and maintain proper medical records on beneficiaries to whom treatment is provided in accordance with MTF procedures.
  • Follow the established operating procedures for the pediatric clinic.

Qualifications

  • Education: Territories or Qualifying degree, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate or Fifth Pathway certificate for individuals who obtained premedical education in the US and received undergraduate medical education abroad. Must have a qualifying degree MD/DO complete in the 50 states, US.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and PALS (AHA or Red Cross-approved). NCCPA certification required. Certifications must remain current.
  • Licensure: Full, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
  • Board Certification: No additional board certification required.
