About the role

This contract position offers pediatric surgeon services on an on-call/call-back basis. The provider shall report to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) within 45 minutes of notification. The position serves a busy existing patient base in the great population.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric surgeon services on an on-call/call-back basis
• Report to WRNMMC within 45 minutes of notification
• Serve a busy existing patient base in the great population

Requirements

• Any active state license
• Successfully completed an Undergraduate program, Medical School (MD or DO), Internship and Residency Program
• Board certification in Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
• Minimum of 1 year experience within preceding 3 years in the specialty
• Basic Life Support certification, Advanced Cardio Life Support
• Must reside within a 65 mile radius of Walter Reed
