MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Pediatrics Kennebunk is seeking a Part-Time BC/BEPediatrician to provide care at their office based at 3 Shape Drive in Kennebunk, ME.

About the role

The successful candidate will join a team of 2-3 physicians in this specific office. Inpatient call for newborns is shared across 2 practices and includes 8 physicians. This position involves 3 days of outpatient clinical responsibilities as well as the inpatient call coverage which is limited to newborn rounding and coverage for high risk deliveries. You will be joining experienced physicians and well established staff in this location. The local medical community provides excellent collegial interaction and referral relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide care at the office based at 3 Shape Drive in Kennebunk, ME.
• Join a team of 2-3 physicians in this specific office.
• Perform 3 days of outpatient clinical responsibilities.
• Participate in inpatient call coverage for newborns and high risk deliveries.

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• PALS and NRP certifications.
• Prior experience with nursery call and inpatient peds preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• PALS and NRP certifications.
• Prior experience with nursery call and inpatient peds preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with pediatric care.
