Physician - Pediatrics
About the role
Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join a successful, well-established group of physicians. The position is outpatient only and involves joining a team of nine physicians and four APPs. Clinic hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Visiting specialists include pediatric cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, endocrinology and rheumatology. The candidate will be a member of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and work at a 15-bed children's hospital with full-time hospitalist coverage. The position serves a large referral area covering central/western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and northern South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients aged 0-18 years
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Treat a diverse patient population in a busy outpatient clinic setting
- Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Current Medical License in North Dakota
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Pediatrics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Medical School degree from an accredited institution
- Passing scores on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2
