Physician - Pediatric Sleep Medicine

About the role

Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Sleep Medicine physician with or without interest in Pediatric Pulmonology to join their team.

Practice Details

• Perform pediatric sleep studies in the Pediatric Sleep Lab for infants to 18 years old.
• Support from the largest team of more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in more than 25 medical specialties.
• Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with a brand new Sanford Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric sleep studies in the Pediatric Sleep Lab.
• Manage portable sleep units for inpatient sleep studies.
• Collaborate with a team of more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists.
• Teach medical students and family medicine residents as well as an upcoming pediatric residency in 2024.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Sleep Medicine.
• Experience in Pediatric Pulmonology is not required but may be beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.
• Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams.

• Strong clinical skills in pediatric sleep medicine.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
