Physician - Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery - Duluth, MN
About the role
Licensed to practice in Minnesota and board certified/eligible in orthopedics with a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics. Engage in a full scope of pediatric orthopedic cases, including spine surgeries. Practice in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced technology and support from colleagues in pediatrics and PM+R.
Responsibilities
- Engage in a full scope of pediatric orthopedic cases, including spine surgeries.
- Practice in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced technology and support from colleagues in pediatrics and PM+R.
- Expand your impact with available outreach opportunities.
- Enjoy a 1:9 compensated call rotation at a Level 1 Trauma Center, supported by a dedicated call APP and surgical assistant.
- Work alongside 2 full-time pediatric orthopedic surgeons and 2 part-time pediatric orthopedic surgeons nearing retirement, supported by two full-time APCs.
- Utilize a dedicated EMR/EPIC system and benefit from a comprehensive rehabilitation program.
- Provide athletic team coverage for local professional, college (including all UMD sports), and high school sports teams.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedics
- Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics
Qualifications
Experience in pediatric orthopedic surgery is preferred but not required. A strong commitment to patient care and a collaborative team environment is essential.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for pediatric orthopedic care are key.

Pay
$600,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
