Physician- Pediatric Neurology

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the office and at other locations, develops treatment plans, and assesses patient's response to treatment.
• Ensures all health care services provided are of the highest quality.
• Provides high quality emergency care to patients on an on-call basis and in rotation with other physicians.
• Investigates new techniques, practices, and equipment to improve the quality and efficiency of health care services.
• Aids in the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement programs and participates in multi-disciplinary efforts.
• Promotes the quality and efficiency of his/her own performance by staying current with the latest trends in the field through seminars, workshops, conferences, and professional organizations.
• Collaborates with other physicians to ensure the provision of high quality medical care and technologically advanced health care services.
• Participates in educational programs, in-service meetings, and training sessions to share expertise and enhance the quality of education and personal growth.

Qualifications

• MD
• Current unrestricted Louisiana Medical License
