Physician - Pediatric Nephrology
About the role
Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network is the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington’s South Sound. It provides a comprehensive network of care designed specifically for children and adolescents. Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage children with a wide range of kidney and urinary tract conditions, including congenital anomalies, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, and hypertension.
- Provide outpatient consultations and inpatient support in coordination with our pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, and subspecialists.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney health, disease management, and preventative measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate care plans.
- Provide medical guidance to nursing staff and timely documentation of patient interactions, diagnosis, and treatment within Epic.
- Maintain an evidence-based clinical practice that focuses on managing kidney disease and delaying its progression.
- Contribute to program development, including potential future dialysis and transplant services.
- Teach medical students and residents.
Requirements
- Licensed in Washington State.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.
- Federal DEA certification.
- Experience with dialysis and transplant management.

Pay and Schedule
The pay scale is $357,000.00 - $357,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
