About the role
Sutter Medical Group seeks to hire a highly qualified and passionate Medical Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist Director to lead and oversee the clinical and strategic direction of our pediatric hematology and oncology program while maintaining an active clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Medical Director of the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Program, providing strategic and clinical leadership to advance program goals and quality standards.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hematology/oncology to optimize program efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic planning and growth of the pediatric hematology/oncology program.
- Represent the program at institutional and external meetings, conferences, and collaborative initiatives.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
- Board eligibility for medical licensure in California.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
- Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship clinical and/or leadership experience preferred.
- Proven leadership in clinical program development, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong commitment to medicine, clinical research, and teaching.
