About the role

Join a team of four pediatric intensivists within a 40‑person pediatrics department at the only accredited pediatric hospital in Central Wisconsin, which offers over 40 subspecialties on site. Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 coverage for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Deliver Monday‑Friday sedation services for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with residents and pediatric hospitalists who are in‑house 24/7 to support patient care.
• Engage in teaching and research activities encouraged by the hospital.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule: typically three days on, four days off the following week.
• Call shared among five physicians; no in‑house overnight requirement.
