About the role
We are seeking a pathologist to join our well-established and expanding hospital practice at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Located in North Central West Virginia, this community offers significant impact on patient care while enjoying the benefits of living in one of West Virginia’s top-ranked communities.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment with responsibilities in gross supervision and frozen sections;
- Surgical cases including core, needle, GI and bronchoscopic biopsies;
- Cytology;
- Hematopathology;
- Chemical pathology;
- Blood banking.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent;
- Eligible to obtain a state medical license;
- Completed an accredited residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology;
- Board certified or eligible in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
