Physician: Part-Time Pediatric Endocrinologist
About the Role
The Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking a part-time Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a team of two full-time physicians, two endocrine nurses, and one dietitian. The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology provides outpatient services on the Sinai Hospital campus and at a nearby satellite office, as well as consult services to the Children's Hospital. The hospital features a pediatric hospitalist service, PICU, NICU, pediatric testing and infusion center, and comprehensive psychosocial support including child life services.

Responsibilities
- Four half-day clinic sessions per week
- Inpatient consults while on call, with opportunity for additional call weeks for bonus pay
- Precepting residents and students in the George Washington University Regional Medical Campus program
- Opportunity for faculty appointment to the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology
- Active MD or DO medical license
- Maryland DEA & CDS license
Pay
$70–80k/year depending on experience, plus additional compensation for call coverage and RVU income. Medical malpractice insurance and credentialing fees are covered.
About the Department
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is part of the Department of Pediatrics at Sinai Hospital, Maryland's largest community hospital. The department includes 40 full-time faculty across more than 15 subspecialties. Sinai hosts the only nationally accredited pediatric training program in a Maryland community hospital, with 30 residents, and serves as a teaching site for medical students from Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, and visiting international programs.
