Physician - Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a BC/BE physician to join their hospital-employed practice in Farmington, Maine. The successful candidate will provide a mix of general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care while also having the opportunity to develop their practice within a subspecialty interest. This role involves joining a team of highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrists, and APP providers, with support from a diverse physical rehabilitation department and collaboration across the MaineHealth orthopedic surgery service line.

Responsibilities

• Provide general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care.
• Develop a subspecialty interest within the practice.
• Collaborate with Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrists, APP providers, and the broader MaineHealth orthopedic surgery service line.

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedics.

Pay

Annual base salary for this position is $608,811.00. Total compensation packages may also include recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives based on eligibility.
