Physician – Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a comprehensive healthcare system in central New York. Responsibilities include: Providing urgent and elective trauma reconstructive surgeries, managing emergent cases in a dedicated OR trauma room, and collaborating with an established team of orthopedic surgeons, surgical residents, and medical students. The role involves general orthopedic call with support from an orthopedic hospitalist and coverage of a central ER.Qualifications: MD, DO, or MBBS with board eligibility or certification in orthopedic surgery, NY medical license or eligibility, BLS and DEA certifications.Skills & Experience: Fellowship training encouraged but not required, with access to surgical facilities and a referral base of over 150 primary care clinicians. Compensation & Benefits: Salary between $700,000 and $900,000 with a sign-on bonus up to $100,000, incentive plan with no cap, and potential for additional earnings based on performance.
