About the role
Englewood Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join their long-standing orthopedic practice – Englewood Orthopedic Associates, at their Woodland Park location.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures within your subspecialty and scope of training.
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient consultations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options.
- Counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, surgical expectations, and recovery timelines.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, physician assistants, nurses, radiologists, and primary care providers to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in On-Call Coverage as assigned for orthopedic emergencies and trauma cases.
- Maintain accurate medical records and timely documentation in Epic to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best-practice development.
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Surgery
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active or eligible for New Jersey Medical License
- DEA & NJ CDS registration
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
- Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
- Experience in a community-based or hospital-based orthopedic practice preferred

Pay
Minimum compensation: $309,920.00 annually
