Physician-Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon

About the role

Ochsner Lafayette General is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join their rapidly growing practice. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-volume practice with excellent resources and support.

Responsibilities

• Thriving, expanding practice with a strong patient base

• Multiple APP’s for clinical and surgical support
• State of the art technology, including 3 MAKOS for total joint procedures
• On-site inpatient rehab for seamless patient care
• Main hospital with 12 oversized OR’s
• Dedicated 2-3 orthopedic rooms daily
• Extra support staff available (2-3 scrub techs per case if needed)
• 2-3 days in the OR per week allowing for a balanced schedule

Requirements

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong surgical skills and ability to manage complex cases
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana
• Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program
