PHYSICIAN - ONCOLOGY
About the role
The Aultman Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified medical oncologist with a focus on serving Aultman’s growing hematology and oncology services. The candidate should have interest in serving general hematology and oncology patients of all disease types.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with various types of cancer
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical oncology, radiation oncology, general surgeons, and other specialists
- Participate in research and clinical trials
- Engage in medical education and training
- Support a growing team and align with the needs of the program
Requirements
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited training program in Oncology
- Board Certified/Eligible by the ABMS or AOA in Oncology and Hematology
- Valid and unrestricted Ohio medical license, or ability to obtain
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization
Qualifications
- Experience in oncology is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and medical education

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in academic medicine and research
