Physician Office Rep Pain Center - FT - 1st Shift
About the Role
Greet the public, patients, and families in a friendly and professional manner. Collect information from patients and families pertaining to registration and enter it into the hospital registration system. Disseminate paperwork appropriately and in a timely manner. Receive incoming telephone calls, answer questions, and route to the appropriate person or take detailed messages. Schedule patient appointments and accept/process payments from patients.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED required; some college preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a billing clerk, office clerk, or unit clerk, preferably in a hospital or physician office setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritization and frequent task changes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to file numerically and alphabetically.
- Accurate typing and data entry skills.
