Physician Office - LPN - PRN Pool
Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to the physician in assessing patient needs.
- Carries out direct patient care, including triage, assessment, procedures, treatments, patient education, discharge and follow-up instructions.
- Prepares patients for physician consultation.
- Collects pertinent information from patient and family, conducts physical exams, and documents findings in the patient’s chart.
- Performs specialized tests and administers medications and injections as directed.
- Assists with treatments and procedures, provides patient education, and schedules testing and referral appointments.
- Communicates with patients via phone, addresses issues, and follows up as necessary.
- Cleans and organizes examination rooms, maintains equipment, and orders medical supplies.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
- Computer skills required.
