Physician - Obstetrics/Gynecology - Watertown, SD

About the role

The Sanford Watertown Clinic is seeking an OB/GYN to join their established team. The position operates on a call model with one-on-four labor coverage, averaging 600-650 deliveries annually. There is dedicated surgery time on Thursdays and access to reproductive endocrinology, IVF, gynecologic oncology, and maternal-fetal medicine services within the Sanford Health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care
• Manage labor and delivery cases
• Participate in surgical procedures
• Collaborate with reproductive specialists and maternal-fetal medicine providers
• Conduct ultrasound examinations
• Engage in continuing medical education and professional development

Requirements

• Current medical license in South Dakota
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Experience in obstetric and gynecological care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams
