This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Dept of Obstetrics/Gynecology, Fort Bliss, TX. Fort Bliss is a United States Army post in New Mexico and Texas, with its headquarters in El Paso, Texas. William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) provides care for Military Personnel and their eligible Family Members, serving as one of two trauma centers in El Paso County.

Responsibilities

• Provide Obstetrics services, to include both medical and surgical management, for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of prenatal and postnatal care.
• Provide Gynecology diagnosis and treatment, to include both medical and surgical management, to evaluate a wide range of female pelvic conditions or issues.
• Perform advanced examination and treatment of patients referred for consultation.
• Evaluate both functional and dysfunctional problems related to the female pelvis, to include masses, pain, urological complaints, bleeding abnormalities, hormonal dysfunction, and infections.
• Perform Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic Requirement: Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada.
• Licensure: Applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Residency Training: Applicants must have successfully completed the required accredited residency training in the specialty of the position (Obstetrics and Gynecology) and equivalent experience and training equal to at least 4 years.

Pay

The salary for this position is based on a tier scale, determined by the position specialty, grade, and location. This announcement may be used to fill positions at any of the tiers listed below: Tier 1: $123,077 - $400,000 salary.
