Role Overview
This position involves providing comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) services, including medical and surgical management, diagnosis, and treatment across a wide patient age range from pediatric to geriatric.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat prenatal, postnatal, and female pelvic conditions such as masses, pain, urological issues, hormonal dysfunction, bleeding abnormalities, and infections.
- Perform advanced examinations and consult on complex cases.
- Manage a variety of OB/GYN patients, performing both medical and surgical interventions as needed.
- Perform duties as assigned to support healthcare delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
- US citizenship and an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with at least four years of specialized training.
- Experience providing direct clinical care post-internship/residency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain clinical privileges and meet credentialing requirements.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work on call, lift up to 25 pounds, and undergo periodic health screenings, including immunizations and TB testing.
