About the role

WVUHS Medical Group seeks an OBGYN Hospitalist. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Martinsburg, WV.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Hospitalist.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the hospital setting.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patient needs are met.
• Manage patient care plans and coordinate with outpatient services.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in professional development activities to maintain certification and licensure.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based guidelines and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Support the mission and values of WVU Medicine by promoting excellence in patient care, education, and research.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and rounds.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of hospital-based programs and services.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Provide consultation and guidance to other healthcare providers as needed.
• Participate in the evaluation and improvement of hospital-based services.
• Collaborate with the hospital administration to develop and implement policies and procedures.
