About the role
The successful candidate will provide medical care to patients at Griffin Hospital, participating in both inpatient and outpatient services. They will be open to delivering care and being on call.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Manage patient care, including ordering tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating with other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Connecticut.
- Experience in relevant medical field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty.
- At least 3 years of relevant medical experience.
