Physician - OB Hospitalist

About the role

The position is a hospital-based Ob Hospitalist / Laborist at CHRISTUS-Ochsner Lake Area Hospital, a 88-bed facility providing inpatient and outpatient services with high-quality and cost-effective emergency, medical, and surgical care. Support is available from specialists and sub-specialists throughout Ochsner Health.

Responsibilities

- Provide hospital-based obstetric and labor and delivery services. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care. - Utilize EPIC medical record platform. - Work in a tort reform state.

Requirements

- Board-certified or board-eligible in Ob Hospitalist / Laborist. - Experience in hospital-based obstetrics is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
