Physician - OB/GYN Specialist

Position Summary / Career Interest

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is seeking a full-time OBGYN specialist to join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.

Job Duties

• Ambulatory care and inpatient care, including night and weekend Labor and Delivery and gynecology coverage
• Provide attendance and presentation at student, resident, and fellowship teaching conferences
• Guide and assist the house staff and students in preparing talks for meetings, in writing publications, and in conducting and presenting the results from research projects
• Be an example of an academic physician by conducting clinical research in the Division
• Support the other scholarly activities of the school

Required Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
• Experience in menopause and/or vulvovaginal care highly desirable
