Physician OB/GYN

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive women’s health care services to Humboldt Park Health patients including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease
• Hospital practice includes labor and delivery as well as gynecologic surgery relevant to general obstetrics and gynecology
• Serves as an expert OB/GYN consultant for other primary health care providers at Humboldt Park Health
• Outpatient work includes management of general obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic consultation, and office-based procedures such as ultrasound, colposcopy and LEEP
• Provides direct patient care as a physician in the office, hospital, or other such locations within the community as assigned
• Position will require a small number of in-house overnight call with opportunity for additional moonlighting if desired
• Participates in the Quality Improvement and Peer Review programs

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (M.D.), or D.O. degree from accredited school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine required
• Board-certified or Board-eligible in OB/GYN
• Current and valid Illinois license as a physician and surgeon
• Current and valid DEA and IL Controlled Substance license
