About the role
Nuclear Medicine Technologists are responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using radioactive materials to produce images of internal organs.
Responsibilities
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Operating imaging equipment to capture nuclear medicine images
- Documenting patient information accurately and securely
- Maintaining sterile environments during procedures
- Communicating effectively with patients and medical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Proficiency with medical imaging software
