Physician Noninvasive Cardiologist
About the role
As a Non-Invasive Cardiologist, you'll work with a team of 17 providers (10 physicians and 7 APPs) to provide top-notch care and patient experiences. We provide the full spectrum of cardiovascular services including echo, SPECT, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI imaging, and full-service structural heart and electrophysiology services!
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of 17 providers (10 physicians and 7 APPs) to provide top-notch care and patient experiences.
- Collaborate with Hospitalist and Intensivist, in addition to other specialties including a robust Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery team.
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Serve as a collaborative physician for advanced practice providers.
- Direct and coordinate patient care activities in the acute and ambulatory setting.
- Supervise and interpret non-invasive testing (Echo, Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI and SPECT).
Requirements
You will practice at Intermountain Health: St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. You would be joining a well-respected, established group of cardiovascular providers. This includes collaboration and partnership with our regional and enterprise Intermountain cardiology teams.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Residency trained in Internal Medicine.
- Fellowship trained in Cardiology.
- Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
- Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
Skills
Knowledge of providing and managing direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.

Pay
$600,000 plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive. Quality Bonus: $25,000 (based on your score of 4 quality metrics). Incentives: $25,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable), and up to $100,000 student loan repayment bonus (if applicable).
Schedule
Actual weekly hours depend on experience, but typically 40 hours per week.
