Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiologist

About the role

We are seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our dynamic group of 10 non-invasive cardiologists at Ochsner Health's academic flagship center.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large group practice setting
• Train medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in clinical research programs
• Be a multimodality cardiac imager with training in advanced echocardiography and TEE in support of structural interventions

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Non-Invasive Cardiology
• Experience in advanced echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
• Ability to work in a large group practice setting
• Strong teaching and mentoring skills
• Interest in clinical research

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Cardiovascular Disease

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic health records systems

Pay

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
