About the role

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), is seeking a Neurosurgeon to join its well-established program at the Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in neurosurgical call coverage and inpatient consultative services
• Collaborate closely with neurology, critical care, oncology, emergency medicine, and rehabilitation teams in a multidisciplinary environment
• Contribute to outcomes-based research, clinical trials, and collaborative neurosurgical research initiatives
• Engage in scholarly activity including publications, presentations, and national conference participation
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary research partnerships across neuroscience, oncology, and rehabilitation services

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
• Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
• Fellowship training in a neurosurgical subspecialty (spine, vascular, tumor, etc.) is a plus but not required
