About the role
Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Neurosurgeon with a subspecialty interest in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery to join their multispecialty Neurosurgery Division.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care to patients in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Participate in the Mission Bernal Neuroscience Institute at California Pacific Medical Center
- Collaborate with neuro-interventionalists, stroke neurologists, neuro-critical care specialists, radiation oncologists, and supportive medical staff
- Build a successful subspecialty neurosurgery practice
- Utilize an integrated electronic medical record (EPIC) system in both clinic and hospital settings
Requirements
- BC/BE in Neurosurgery
- Fellowship in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery required
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
- Active or eligible for a California Medical License
Qualifications
- Subspecialty training in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage a busy clinical caseload
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
