Physician, Neurosurgery - Cerebrovascular/Endovascular (San Francisco, CA)

About the role

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Neurosurgeon with a subspecialty interest in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery to join their multispecialty Neurosurgery Division.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care to patients in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Participate in the Mission Bernal Neuroscience Institute at California Pacific Medical Center
• Collaborate with neuro-interventionalists, stroke neurologists, neuro-critical care specialists, radiation oncologists, and supportive medical staff
• Build a successful subspecialty neurosurgery practice
• Utilize an integrated electronic medical record (EPIC) system in both clinic and hospital settings

Requirements

• BC/BE in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery required
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Active or eligible for a California Medical License

Qualifications

• Subspecialty training in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage a busy clinical caseload
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
