Physician - Neuropsychologist

Ochsner Health seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Neuropsychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in neuropsychological assessment and intervention, and a commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive function, emotional health, and brain health.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide consultation and education to patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in research initiatives related to neuropsychological disorders.

Requirements

• M.D. or Ph.D. degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related field.
• Licensed to practice neuropsychology in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.
• Current licensure to practice neuropsychology in Louisiana.
• Experience in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
• Knowledge of neuropsychological disorders and treatments.
