About the role
Ochsner Health seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Neuropsychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in neuropsychological assessment and intervention, and a commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive function, emotional health, and brain health.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide consultation and education to patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in research initiatives related to neuropsychological disorders.
Requirements
- M.D. or Ph.D. degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related field.
- Licensed to practice neuropsychology in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.
- Current licensure to practice neuropsychology in Louisiana.
- Experience in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
- Knowledge of neuropsychological disorders and treatments.
