Physician Neurology

About the role

Join a team of fellowship-trained epileptologists at an academic medical center located in northeast Pennsylvania. The center is a Level 4 epilepsy center and offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties. The position does not involve general neurology or stroke call.

Responsibilities

• Conducting evaluations and treatments for patients with epilepsy
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Participating in research activities related to epilepsy
• Teaching and mentoring residents and fellows

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited epilepsy fellowship program
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of employment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Neurology
• Experience with epilepsy diagnosis and management
