Physician - Neurology

Position Overview

Seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or clinical experience in Movement Disorders to join a dynamic neurology department. The role involves providing comprehensive care for patients with conditions such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and Huntington's disease, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and treatments like deep brain stimulation (DBS). The candidate will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, mentor residents and medical students, and participate in clinical or translational research to advance the field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized care for movement disorder patients
• Utilize advanced therapies including DBS and emerging treatments
• Mentor residents and medical students within a residency program
• Engage in clinical or translational research projects
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, therapy services, neuropsychology, and social work teams

Qualifications & Skills

• MD/DO degree or equivalent
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology
• Fellowship training or significant clinical experience in Movement Disorders
• Eligibility for an Arizona medical license
• Strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and scholarly activity
