About the role

PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center is seeking a per diem Interventional Neurologist to join their established program. They are the only Comprehensive Stroke Center between Portland and Sacramento, serving a large catchment area.

Responsibilities

  • Treatment of acute ischemic stroke and other cerebrovascular disorders
  • Assessment and management of patients with intracranial hemorrhage
  • Collaboration with Neurohospitalists, Neuroradiologists, Neurointensivists, and Neurosurgeons
  • Use of a new bi-plane Cath Lab

Requirements

  • Current Oregon medical license
  • Board certification in Neurology
  • Experience with neurointerventional procedures

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care

Skills

  • Knowledge of neurointerventional techniques
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
