About the role

The department of neurology consists of 17 physicians and advanced practice clinicians who provide neurological care to the larger East Bay area. While each of the clinicians subspecializes, all also hold subspecialty training and interests. The current position is meant to be chiefly ambulatory with opportunities to provide some inpatient care to patients with neurologic disorders if desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level comprehensive care to patients with Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders, including programming of deep brain stimulators and subcutaneous medication pumps.
• Management of patients with dementing illnesses, in collaboration with extensive clinical staff, including advanced practice pharmacist, medical social worker, and neuropsychologist.

Requirements

Board Certified/Eligible
Possess active and unrestricted California Medical License
Current DEA license
