Physician - Neonatal Perinatal Medicine

About the Role
Penn State Health is recruiting a neonatologist to join our brand-new NICU at the Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster, PA.
- Join a collaborative division of 3 Neonatologists and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
- Provide care in a 3-bed Level II NICU and all infants admitted to the newborn nursery
- Daytime in-house coverage with at-home call responsibilities
- Approximately 10 twenty-four–hour shifts per month
Responsibilities
- Lead daily rounds and provide comprehensive management of NICU patients, including respiratory, nutritional, hematologic, and infectious conditions
- Review laboratory results and collaborate closely with families on care plans
- Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of NICU policies and procedures
- Respond to emergencies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery and attend high-risk deliveries

- Full complement of dedicated ancillary staff
- Access to subspecialty support from Penn State Health’s Level IV NICU at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital
Requirements
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
