Physician - Medical Oncology

About the role

Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join their team. The practice is outpatient with hospital consults, operates on a 1:3 call rotation, and supports an experienced APP.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated support staff, including a nurse navigator
• Hospitalist coverage on the in-patient unit
• Weekly cancer committee/weekly tumor board
• Ancillary Services Include: Anesthesia; Inpatient & Outpatient Surgery with a Cardiac Cath Lab; Diagnostic Testing – Echo, Vascular, Stress, Ultrasound; Respiratory Therapy; Lab; Outpatient Infusion Center

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology preferred

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of South Dakota
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Hematology/Oncology
