SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to join our Urgent Care team at our newest facility at the Streets of Caledonia in O'Fallon, MO. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages with acute and urgent health issues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for all patients
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies as appropriate
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Urgent Care schedule: 15–20-minute visits, 8 am - 8 pm
  • The position involves direct patient contact and requires the ability to stand and move throughout the clinic for extended periods
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the urgent care needs of patients
