Physician - MD/DO - Radiation Oncology

About the role

The position requires close collaboration with several active academic in-house gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic brachytherapy device placement is performed in the OR in conjunction with the gynecologic oncology team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all radiation modalities including IMRT, SRS, SBRT, VMAT and HDR brachytherapy
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team managing adult malignancies
• Collaborate with a full complement of highly trained surgical and medical subspecialists
• Work within an academic setting if desired

Requirements

• Current medical license in the state of Missouri
• Completion of a residency program in radiation oncology
• Experience with all radiation modalities including IMRT, SRS, SBRT, VMAT and HDR brachytherapy
• Strong clinical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of radiation oncology techniques and technologies
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong clinical and technical skills

Schedule
