Physician - Maternal-Fetal Medicine (Perinatologist) - Full Time Academic

About the role

We're seeking a BC/BE qualified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our growing full-service practice at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport. The position offers the opportunity to lead innovation and growth in the North Louisiana area.

Responsibilities

• Join Premier Women's and Children's Center at St. Mary’s Medical Center, a top-tier facility and only Leapfrog A hospital in North Louisiana.
• Provide comprehensive perinatal and neonatal services, supported by multidisciplinary subspecialists.
• Manage complex pregnancy complications in a comprehensive perinatal practice.
• Participate in training the next generation of OB/GYN physicians through our highly competitive ACGME-accredited residency program.
• Engage in clinical research and innovative initiatives.

Requirements

• BC/BE qualification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred.
• Experience in managing complex pregnancy complications.
• Strong academic background and interest in teaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to care.
